全関東八王子夢街道駅伝競走大会

第1回大会は、昭和26年（1951年）に開催。現在では、全国各地から約500チーム、2,000名ものランナーが参加する大会に発展しました。ＪＲ八王子駅前をスタートし、中心市街地や甲州街道（国道20号）など、普段は走れない公道を駆け抜けることができるのが、この大会の大きな魅力です。
